Champions in Visual Arts
In the 36th National Inter-University Youth Festival held at Jain University, Bangalore during February 24 to 28, 2023 Students of Fine Arts Department of Yogi Vemana University, the Champions in visual arts at South Zone Inter University Youth Festival has participated and won the prizes. B.F.A. Students B. Gampa Mallaiah won gold medal along with the first position in sculpture on the subject of “Hard work”, B. Pawan Kalyan won gold medal along with first position in photography, another student Y. Arvind in cartoon section, won the bronze medal along with the third position. The winners were congratulated by University Vice Chancellor Prof. Ginka Ranga Janardhan, Registrar Prof. Y. Venkata Subbaiah . On this occasion, the Vice-Chancellor asked about the details of the winners and praised the efforts of the Department of Fine Arts and its students who are the pride of the University and ordered to make plans to make it stronger. Registrar Professor Y.Venkata Subbaiah said that the students of Fine Arts Department will be encouraged more and asked them to prepare in all ways for the upcoming International Youth Festival and achieve success.
